A little bit about me

Marzo de 2020: el mundo se para en seco debido a una pandemia mundial y llegan el confinamiento y los ERTE. Lo que para la mayoría de personas fue un período duro (temas de salud aparte), para mí fue una bendición. Tuve TIEMPO para parar y pensar qué estaba haciendo con mi vida y si eso era lo que quería hacer durante los próximos años. Después de más de 10 años trabajando en el sector de la seguridad privada necesitaba un cambio.

March 2020: The world comes to a standstill due to a pandemic worldwide and the confinement and the ERTE arrive. What for most people was a hard period (health issues aside), for me it was a blessing. I had TIME to stop and think about what I was doing with my life and if that was what I wanted to do for the next few years. After more than 10 years working in the private security sector i needed a change.

Al mismo tiempo, como no me puedo estar quieto, empiezo a descubrir el mundo del desarrollo web, algo sobre lo que tenía curiosidad desde hace tiempo, y empiezo a aprender HTML y CSS con un curso gratuito de Google Actívate.

At the same time, since I can't sit still, I begin to discover the world of web development, something I've been curious about for a long time, and start learning HTML and CSS with a free Google Activate course.

Se acabó el confinamiento y se acabó mi ERTE, pero desde entonces no he parado de devorar cursos, vídeos o artículos sobre HTML, CSS, Javascript, SEO,... Todo para lograr el objetivo de trabajar en este sector.

The lockdown is over and my ERTE is over, but since then I haven't stopped to devour courses, videos or articles about HTML, CSS, Javascript, SEO,... All to achieve the goal of working in this sector.

Durante este tiempo he tratado de perfeccionar mis conocimientos en HTML, CSS y Javascript, centrándome en aprender las bases de estos lenguajes antes de entrar en frameworks. Mi próximo objetivo es seguir perfeccionando mis conocimientos de éstas 3 tecnologías e introducirme en lenguajes como React o Vue.

During this time I have tried to perfect my knowledge in HTML, CSS and Javascript, focusing on learning the basics of these languages before entering in frameworks. My next goal is to continue perfecting my knowledge of these 3 technologies and introduce myself in languages such as React or Vue.
